A trip to Istanbul turns into a revenge attack when the father of one of the kidnappers Bryan Mills killed comes after his family. Liam Neeson is Bryan, the retired CIA operative who finds himself taken hostage alongside his ex-wife Lenore (Famke Janssen), forcing him to work from inside the trap this time. The setup shifts from rescue mission to survival and counterattack, with abductions, street chases, and Bryan’s stripped-down tradecraft moving through hotels, safe houses, and crowded Istanbul streets.
