Where the Wind Blows
CrimeDramaThriller144 min
In 1960s Hong Kong under British rule, Aaron Kwok’s Lui Lok and Lam Kong (Tony Leung Chiu-wai) are two very different policemen whose rise through the force runs alongside the city’s criminal underworld. As they gain influence and become notorious for corruption, both men find themselves caught between organized crime groups and an anti-corruption unit determined to bring the system down. Spanning decades, the film tracks their ascent through a police culture built on favors, money, and shifting power, with Hong Kong’s changing political landscape closing in around them.
