Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back

ActionAdventureComedy104 min

After learning a Hollywood movie is using their comic-book alter egos without paying them a dime, Jay and Silent Bob head to Los Angeles to shut the production down themselves. Jason Mewes’s Jay barrels ahead while Kevin Smith’s Silent Bob answers mostly with stares and the occasional deadpan line. The setup turns into a self-mocking road trip through Smith’s View Askew universe, packed with studio gags, fourth-wall breaks, and a long list of cameos, including Jason Lee and Ben Affleck, as the duo blunder deeper into the machinery of show business.
