Nearly three decades after the Rage virus outbreak, a survivor community clings to life on a fortified island linked to the mainland by a single defended causeway. When one member leaves on a mission into the interior, he finds that isolation has changed more than the infected. Jodie Comer and Aaron Taylor-Johnson are among the island’s survivors, with Ralph Fiennes appearing deeper in the quarantined landscape. Directed by Danny Boyle, the film returns to the world of 28 Days Later with a society shaped by lockdown, fear, and whatever has been growing unchecked across the mainland.
