The Misfits
DramaRomanceWestern125 min
In Reno, newly divorced Roslyn Taber (Marilyn Monroe) falls in with Gay, an aging cowboy and gambler trying to live as if the old West never ended, and Guido, a former wartime pilot with a half-finished house in the Nevada desert. Clark Gable's Gay is instantly drawn to Roslyn, and when ex-rodeo rider Perce arrives, the four drift into the work of capturing wild mustangs. Bars, rodeos, and a sun-beaten desert frame a story about people trying to make a place for themselves in a West that’s slipping away.
