Antebellum
DramaHorrorMysteryThriller105 min
Successful author Veronica Henley is pulled from her 21st-century life into a horrifying reality she can’t explain: a Southern slave plantation where survival depends on finding a way out. Janelle Monáe is Veronica, carrying the story between her public life in the present and the nightmare she’s suddenly forced to navigate. Around her, Jack Huston and Jena Malone are among the figures shaping the rules of this world, as the film turns Veronica’s disorientation into a mystery about time, control, and escape.
