Kadamban

The story

Deep in the forests of Kadambavanam, a tribal community that lives by gathering honey comes under threat when outsiders discover valuable limestone beneath the village. Arya is at the center of the resistance, as pressure on the villagers shifts from soft promises and evacuation schemes to open intimidation and violence; Catherine Tresa appears alongside him as the struggle closes in on everyday life. The story roots its conflict in the village’s bond with the land, its ancestral beliefs, and the growing fight to keep a remote community from being forced out.
