CrimeDramaMysteryThriller112 min

In the early 1960s, British businessman Greville Wynne is drawn into a covert channel between MI6 and a Soviet source as the Cold War moves toward the Cuban Missile Crisis. Benedict Cumberbatch is Wynne, a salesman whose routine travel gives him cover to carry intelligence in and out of Moscow. Rachel Brosnahan and Jessie Buckley appear around the operation as officials and handlers push the mission forward. Based on a true story, the film centers on secret meetings, coded exchanges, and the mounting pressure on a man far outside the usual world of espionage.
