The Curse of La Llorona

HorrorMysteryThriller93 min

In 1970s Los Angeles, a social worker and her children become targets of La Llorona, the weeping spirit from Latin American folklore who stalks children in the night. Linda Cardellini is the mother pulled in after she dismisses the warning of a desperate parent, with Patricia Velásquez as the woman who first sounds the alarm. As the attacks close in on her family, the case pushes her beyond official answers and toward a disillusioned priest whose mysticism may be the only way to keep the entity at bay.
