Tobey Marshall, a blue-collar mechanic who races muscle cars on the side, is forced into a partnership with wealthy ex-NASCAR driver Dino Brewster that ends with Tobey framed and sent to prison. Once out, Aaron Paul’s Tobey enters a clandestine race from New York to Los Angeles, hoping to settle the score before Dominic Cooper’s Dino can shut him down. Imogen Poots joins the chase as car broker Julia Bonet, and a bounty on Tobey’s car turns the trip into a coast-to-coast gauntlet of police, rival drivers, and high-end machines.
