The Beasts

DramaThriller138 min

Antoine and Olga, a French couple living in rural Galicia, have spent years farming responsibly and restoring abandoned houses in a small Spanish village. Denis Ménochet and Marina Foïs are at the center as newcomers whose opposition to a local wind turbine project turns a long-running disagreement with their neighbors into something harsher and more personal. What begins as an argument over land, money, and the future of the village tightens into an increasingly volatile standoff, with the isolation of the countryside and the pressure of village life closing in around them.
