Eight-year-old mermaid princess Ariel heads out with her friends on underwater adventures across Atlantica, a Caribbean-inspired fairytale kingdom filled with sea creatures, songs, and familiar faces from The Little Mermaid. The series follows Ariel as her curiosity carries her beyond the palace and into new parts of the ocean, with best friends Lucia and Fernie close by. King Triton, Ursula, Sebastian, and Flounder all turn up in this animated reworking of the story, with voices from Mykal-Michelle Harris, Taye Diggs, and Amber Riley.
