The Lighthouse

DramaFantasyHorrorMysteryThriller109 min

A storm strands two lighthouse keepers on a remote New England island in the 1890s, where the routine of tending the lamp gives way to isolation, drink, and hallucinations. Willem Dafoe and Robert Pattinson are the men cut off from the mainland, caught in a tense cycle of chores, commands, and sleepless nights as the weather closes in. Shot in black and white, Robert Eggers’s film fills the island with pounding surf, strange visions, and the sense that the light itself may be hiding something from them.
