On her way across London for her parents’ anniversary, 34-year-old Nancy lets a stranger mistake her for his blind date. Lake Bell is Nancy, hungover and worn down by a long run of bad setups, while Simon Pegg’s Jack is a recently divorced forty-something who has no idea he’s with the wrong woman. What starts as a small lie becomes an increasingly messy night of drinks, bowling, missed calls, and awkward detours, with Nancy trying to keep up the act as the date veers between flirtation, confession, and chaos.
