An engagement in a Telangana village is upended when family patriarch Komurayya dies, pulling his grandson Saayilu and the rest of the clan into mourning, ritual, and long-simmering disputes. Priyadarshi Pulikonda is among the family members caught in the fallout, with Kavya Kalyanram part of an ensemble shaped by old resentments, obligations, and gossip that won’t stay private. What begins as a death in the family widens into arguments over inheritance, fractured relationships, and the social fault lines running through the village around them.
