A Private War

DramaWar110 min

Marie Colvin heads to the front lines of wars around the world, determined to report on civilians caught inside the violence and to show what those conflicts cost beyond the headlines. Rosamund Pike is Colvin, a celebrated correspondent whose fearlessness keeps pulling her back into danger, while Jamie Dornan’s war photographer Paul Conroy joins her on increasingly risky assignments. Moving between the pressure of filing the story and the chaos of the battlefield, the film follows Colvin’s work across multiple conflict zones, including Syria, as the job demands more and more from the people trying to bear witness.
