After moving with her family to a new neighborhood for the summer, 10-year-old Laure introduces herself to the local kids as Mickaël. Zoé Héran is Laure, a child more at ease in football shorts than dresses, while Jeanne Disson’s Lisa becomes both friend and first crush as the days fill with playground games, swimming, and the rituals of fitting in. At home, Laure is still a daughter and older sister; outside, Mickaël moves through the world with a freedom that starts to draw attention as summer winds down and school gets closer.
