Song of the Sea

ActionAdventureAnimationDramaFamilyFantasy94 min

After their mother disappears, young Ben and his mute sister Saoirse are sent from their lighthouse home to live with Granny in the city. When they make a run back to the Irish coast, Ben discovers that the stories his mother told about selkies and faeries are tied to Saoirse herself. Their trip home becomes a race through a hidden world of sea creatures, old spirits, and folklore that has lingered alongside everyday life far longer than Ben ever imagined. David Rawle and Brendan Gleeson are among the voices in this Irish animated tale, which draws closely on Celtic myth and the pull of the sea.
