Ma
HorrorMysteryThriller99 min
In a quiet Ohio town, new arrival Maggie asks a stranger to buy booze for her and her friends and ends up in the orbit of Sue Ann. Octavia Spencer is Sue Ann, a lonely local woman who offers the teens her basement as a place to party, with a few rules: don’t curse, don’t drink and drive, and never go upstairs. Diana Silvers’ Maggie is relieved to have somewhere to go at first, but Ma’s need to be included starts to turn possessive, and the house that seemed like a lucky break begins to feel tightly controlled.
