Mannequin

ComedyFantasyRomance90 min

Andrew McCarthy is Jonathan Switcher, an unemployed artist who lands a job as an assistant window dresser at a struggling department store and discovers that a mannequin he designed comes to life when he’s alone. Kim Cattrall’s Emmy tells him she’s an Egyptian under an ancient spell, and the two turn the store’s windows into elaborate crowd-pullers as they fall for each other. Their romance unfolds under the noses of management, with the store’s devious boss eager to take control of the sudden attention Jonathan’s displays are bringing in.
