Charlie St. Cloud

DramaFantasyRomance100 min

Zac Efron is Charlie, an accomplished young sailor in a sleepy Pacific Northwest town whose college plans vanish after a car accident takes his younger brother. Four years later, Charlie spends his evenings keeping a promise to Sam (Charlie Tahan), whose presence still shapes his life on the edge of the harbor. When former classmate Tess, Amanda Crew’s returning sailor, comes home unexpectedly, Charlie is pulled between the bond that has kept him anchored and the chance to move forward. Ghost-story elements run through a drama built around grief, romance, and the rituals Charlie can’t quite leave behind.
