The Crush
CrimeDramaRomanceThriller89 min
When writer Nick Eliot moves to a new city for a magazine job, the guesthouse he rents comes with an increasingly dangerous complication: his landlords’ teenage daughter fixates on him. Cary Elwes is Nick, trying to keep boundaries intact as the attention around him turns invasive, while Alicia Silverstone’s debut performance gives the girl a calm, unsettling certainty. After Nick refuses her sexual advances, the obsession spills into harassment and retaliation, pushing into his work, his home life, and the people around him.
