Key & Peele
Comedy20 min per episode
Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele, both coming off MADtv, move through a string of pre-taped sketches, then reappear between bits in front of a live studio audience. The show jumps from workplace awkwardness and pop-culture riffs to race, politics and the small social codes people trip over every day, with the duo constantly switching accents, attitudes and status. Guest performers turn up along the way, but the center of it is Key’s big, rubbery energy against Peele’s cooler, more controlled timing, as each sketch pushes a situation until it turns strange, tense or ridiculous.
