A gigantic serpent captured on a remote island is shipped to an American college for experimentation, turning a scientific project into a spreading nightmare. Peter Fonda is among the figures trying to understand what’s been brought onto campus, while Oliver Reed is tied to the island-side mystery and the beliefs surrounding the creature. William Fruet’s 1983 Canadian horror film moves between lab corridors, occult overtones, and the havoc caused by a monster that never should have been transported in the first place.
