After moving to Japan for a new photography job, newlyweds Ben and Jane are shaken by a roadside accident and an image that keeps appearing in the photos they develop. Joshua Jackson is Ben, whose fashion shoots start turning up strange blurs and shadowy figures, while Rachael Taylor's Jane grows convinced the couple is being followed by the spirit of the young woman they may have hit. As the sightings spread from the darkroom into their daily lives, the pair start digging into what happened that night and why the photographs won't let it go.
