Quigley Down Under

ActionAdventureDramaRomanceWestern119 min

Tom Selleck is Matt Quigley, an American sharpshooter who heads to the Australian outback after answering a wealthy rancher's ad for a marksman. Once Quigley learns that Elliott Marston (Alan Rickman) wants Aboriginal people hunted rather than dingoes, he turns on his employer and becomes the target himself. As Marston's men close in across the bush, Laura San Giacomo's Cora — an American expatriate known as Crazy Cora — is drawn into Quigley's fight. The film folds its frontier standoff into a specifically Australian landscape of vast stations, harsh distances, and colonial violence.
