Life as a House

Drama125 min

After learning he has terminal cancer, a recently fired, divorced father takes custody of the teenage son he barely knows how to reach. Kevin Kline is a man trying to use the time he has left to repair years of damage, while Hayden Christensen’s withdrawn, angry teen meets every attempt at connection with drugs, hustling, and avoidance. Their forced time together pulls old family fractures back into view, especially around his ex-wife, as the story tracks a father racing against time to make contact before it runs out.
