Sign of the Pagan

ActionAdventureDramaWarWestern92 min

In the 5th century, Roman centurion Marcian is captured by Attila the Hun while traveling to Constantinople, then escapes into an Eastern Roman court already entangled with the invader. Jeff Chandler is Marcian, arriving to find Emperor Theodosius willing to ignore Attila’s advance against Rome, while Pulcheria, the emperor’s sister, pushes for a united empire. Jack Palance’s Attila stands at the center of the threat, as military danger and palace maneuvering pull the Eastern and Western Roman worlds toward open conflict. The story moves between imperial politics, divided loyalties, and Attila’s march on Rome.
