Taking Lives

CrimeMysteryThriller103 min

Called to Montreal to help hunt a serial killer who assumes the identities of his victims, FBI profiler Illeana Scott is working against a murderer who leaves almost nothing behind. Angelina Jolie is Illeana, an investigator with an offbeat approach and a reputation for seeing patterns others miss. Her strongest lead is James Costa (Ethan Hawke), a museum employee who may be the only eyewitness to the latest attack. As Scott pushes Costa for details and works alongside wary local detectives, the case narrows around a killer who has been slipping into other people’s lives for years.
