The Post

DocumentaryDramaThrillerWar108 min

As classified documents about the Vietnam War land at The Washington Post, publisher Katharine Graham must decide whether her paper will challenge the U.S. government by printing them. Meryl Streep is Graham, balancing legal risk, political pressure, and the future of the company, while Tom Hanks’s editor Ben Bradlee pushes the newsroom toward publication. Steven Spielberg directs the story of the Pentagon Papers as a battle between the press and the White House, with Sarah Paulson, Bob Odenkirk, and Bradley Whitford moving through the paper’s crowded offices, meetings, and late-night calls as the stakes keep rising.
