Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore

DramaRomance112 min

After her husband dies, Alice packs up her life and heads across the Southwest with her preteen son, chasing the singing career and independence she set aside years earlier. Money runs short almost immediately, and the trip turns into a string of motels, roadside stops, and hard compromises as she looks for work and a place to land. Ellen Burstyn’s Alice has to keep moving between hope and exhaustion while her son pushes back, needs her attention, and shares every setback. What begins as a fresh start becomes a search for stability, dignity, and room to imagine a different future.
