Liberty's Secret
ComedyMusicalRomance95 min
A preacher’s daughter is packaged as the wholesome face of a conservative political campaign just as she starts falling in love with another woman. Jaclene Wilk leads the film at the center of that split between public virtue and private desire, with Cara AnnMarie among the campaign-world figures around her. Comedy, romance, and musical staging mingle with church-pageant polish, dance, and jazz touches as the story turns family-values rhetoric into political satire.
