He Was a Quiet Man

ComedyDramaRomanceThriller100 min

Christian Slater is a withdrawn office worker who arrives at his job planning a shooting spree, only to be celebrated as a hero when he winds up stopping one instead. The sudden attention leaves him split between the person everyone thinks they see and the rage he’s been hiding in plain sight. Around him, Elisha Cuthbert is part of the office world abruptly recast by that day’s violence. The film moves through cubicles, awkward celebrity, and his unstable inner monologue, with surreal touches that include aquarium imagery and a talking fish.
