In 16th-century India, a marriage arranged for power slowly changes the lives of a Mughal ruler and a Rajput princess. Hrithik Roshan is Emperor Akbar, who agrees to the union as part of his expanding rule, while Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s Jodhaa enters the imperial court with her own convictions and sense of pride.
