Nosferatu the Vampyre

DramaHorror107 min

Jonathan Harker leaves Lucy behind in 19th-century Wismar and travels to Transylvania to close a property sale with a reclusive nobleman whose interest in his hometown carries a darker threat. In Werner Herzog’s reworking of Dracula, Bruno Ganz is the earnest agent drawn into Count Dracula’s remote castle, while Klaus Kinski gives the count a gaunt, unnerving presence. Isabelle Adjani's Lucy remains in Wismar as the danger follows Jonathan home, bringing coffins, disease, and a spreading sense of dread across the town.
