Gifted Hands: The Ben Carson Story
Drama90 min
Ben Carson grows up in a poor household, struggling in school and wrestling with his temper while his mother keeps pushing him toward a bigger future. Cuba Gooding Jr. is Carson, following his path from a difficult childhood in the 1960s to his rise as a neurosurgeon in the 1980s. Kimberly Elise's Sonya is the constant force behind him, insisting on discipline, education, and faith even when little seems to be going his way. The film follows the family pressures, medical training, and early operating-room breakthroughs that shape Carson's life and career.
