Temple Grandin

Drama108 min

Growing up as an autistic girl in an era that offers little understanding, Temple Grandin learns to navigate a world that often treats her differences as a problem to be fixed. As she discovers a talent for visual thinking, she pushes past school barriers, social isolation, and low expectations to study animal science and pursue work in the cattle industry. There, the way livestock are handled becomes her focus. Seeing patterns others miss, Temple begins designing equipment and systems meant to reduce animals’ fear and suffering, even as ranchers and colleagues doubt her. Claire Danes plays Temple in a story about turning an outsider’s perspective into practical change.
