C'mon C'mon

Drama109 min

A cross-country trip pulls Johnny and his young nephew out of Los Angeles and into an uneasy stretch of shared time. Joaquin Phoenix is Johnny, an uncle trying to connect with a boy who can be tender one moment and distant the next, while Woody Norman gives the nephew a curious, unpredictable presence. Gaby Hoffmann appears as Johnny’s sister, the family link that keeps the journey tethered to home. Shot in black and white, Mike Mills’ film follows the small conversations, misunderstandings, and moments of trust that gradually reshape their bond.
