Asterix & Obelix: Mission Cleopatra

ActionAdventureComedyFamilyFantasy108 min

When Cleopatra wagers that her people can build Julius Caesar a palace in three months, she summons Asterix and Obelix to Egypt to help an unlucky architect survive the deadline. Christian Clavier is the crafty Asterix, while Gérard Depardieu's Obelix barrels through trouble beside him; at the center of the project, Edifis (Jamel Debbouze) is trying to finish a monument and avoid Cleopatra's crocodiles. Monica Bellucci's queen rules over a busy ancient world of Roman interference, oversized egos, and slapstick obstacles as the Gauls race to keep the bet from turning into disaster.
