The Actor
CrimeDramaMysteryThriller98 min
After waking up in a small Ohio town with no memory of how he got there, New York actor Paul Cole tries to piece together who he is and how to get home. André Holland is Paul, moving through a 1950s world where time slips, faces can’t be trusted, and each clue seems to unsettle the last one. As he starts over and begins courting Gemma Chan’s Edna, a local costume designer, fragments of his past start to surface — along with the possibility that the life he’s trying to reclaim may not be the only version of himself.
