The 84th Annual Academy Awards

Comedy157 min

Hollywood’s biggest awards night brings nominees, presenters, and performers together for the 84th Academy Awards, moving from red-carpet arrivals to acceptance speeches and onstage tributes. Billy Crystal is the host at the center of the telecast, steering the ceremony through comic bits and the major Oscar categories, while appearances from Tom Hanks, Emma Stone, Brad Pitt, Meryl Streep, and many others keep the focus shifting across the industry. Alongside the speeches and fashion, the show folds in musical performances and memorial segments, capturing the pageantry, backstage nerves, and polished spectacle of the film business on one stage.
