Time of the Gypsies
ComedyCrimeDramaFantasyMusical142 min
Perhan, a Romani teenager with telekinetic powers, leaves his village for Italy when a wealthy elder named Ahmed promises medical treatment for his sister. Davor Dujmovic is Perhan, a young man pulled between family need and the lure of money, while Predrag “Miki” Manojlovic’s Ahmed opens the door to a criminal world that keeps widening around him. Emir Kusturica threads coming-of-age drama with fraud, superstition, and flashes of the uncanny, following Perhan from village life into a harsher, more corrupt orbit.
