In 2004, time travel has opened the door to a new kind of crime, and Max Walker works for the agency that polices jumps into the past. Jean-Claude Van Damme's Walker is forced into a fight with a shady politician whose ambitions reach across decades, while Mia Sara appears in the parts of Walker's life that keep colliding with the case. Moving between the near future and earlier eras, the film folds time-travel rules, corruption, and martial-arts action into a story about a cop trying to stay one step ahead of someone who can rewrite events.
