Roads to Koktebel
AdventureDramaRomance100 min
A father and his young son set out across Russia with almost nothing, heading for the seaside town of Koktebel in hopes of starting over. Their trip becomes a hard, improvised passage through train yards, roadsides, and temporary shelters, where each stop brings a new bargain, setback, or brief kindness. The boy fixes on the dream of reaching the sea, while his father keeps drifting between responsibility and escape. As they move south, the distance between them shifts with the people they meet and the choices the father keeps putting off. Directed by Boris Khlebnikov and Aleksey Popogrebskiy, the film follows the strain and fragile hope inside that journey.
