After the battle of Chicago, Texas inventor Cade Yeager discovers that Optimus Prime is being hunted by both human operatives and alien forces. Mark Wahlberg is Cade, whose attempt to help the wounded Autobot pulls his family into a widening chase, with Nicola Peltz Beckham and Jack Reynor caught in the fallout. As a secretive organization tries to turn Transformers into weapons and an ancient new threat fixes on Earth, the surviving Autobots are pushed back into the open. Michael Bay’s sequel shifts to a new human cast while expanding the conflict with new enemies and even bigger robotic warfare.
