My Week with Marilyn

DramaRomance99 min

Fresh out of Oxford, Colin Clark lands a junior job on the 1956 London set of The Prince and the Showgirl, where the production is already straining under the collision of Marilyn Monroe and Laurence Olivier. Eddie Redmayne is Colin, the eager third assistant director who finds himself pulled from errands into Monroe’s orbit. Michelle Williams’s Marilyn arrives in England newly married to Arthur Miller and surrounded by handlers, while Olivier (Kenneth Branagh) tries to keep the film on track. As the shoot lumbles forward, Colin becomes her guide through a brief stretch of London life away from the cameras.
