Drive a Crooked Road
CrimeDramaThriller83 min
A mechanic is pulled into the mob after he falls for a gangster's girlfriend, and what begins as a simple attraction becomes part of a criminal scheme. Mickey Rooney is the mechanic caught in the middle, while Dianne Foster is the woman whose arrival shifts the course of his life. The setup turns on a narrow stretch between ordinary work and organized crime, with the romance functioning less as escape than as the opening move in something far more dangerous.
