In Paris, Assane Diop sets out to avenge his father, who died after being accused of a crime he did not commit. Drawing inspiration from Arsène Lupin, the gentleman thief he loved as a boy, Assane uses disguises, misdirection, and carefully planned thefts to get close to the wealthy family he holds responsible. Each move puts him under more pressure from the police and from people who begin to see through his tricks. As his schemes grow bolder, the hunt for answers turns into a chain of heists, investigations, and near escapes, with Omar Sy at the center as a man trying to stay one step ahead.
