You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger
ComedyDramaRomance98 min
After four decades of marriage, Anthony Hopkins's Alfie walks out on Helena (Gemma Jones), convinced that youth and romance will fix his restlessness. Helena, blindsided and adrift, starts leaning on a fortune teller for guidance while their daughter Sally (Naomi Watts) grows dissatisfied with her own marriage and drawn to her charismatic boss. At the same time, Sally's husband Roy, a struggling writer played by Josh Brolin, becomes infatuated with a neighbor who is already engaged. As both couples chase new attachments and private fantasies, small lies and impulsive choices keep pushing their lives further off course.
