Dennis Quaid is Aidan Breslin, a recently widowed detective whose latest case turns into a series of ritualized murders linked to the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. As bodies pile up and the investigation moves through autopsies, church imagery, and tense interrogations, Breslin is also struggling at home with his sons Alex (Lou Taylor Pucci) and Sean (Liam James), from whom he’s grown increasingly distant since their mother’s death. Ziyi Zhang appears among the central figures surrounding the case, which begins to point toward a disturbing connection between the suspects and Breslin himself.
